In a wonderful celebration of Eid, Holroyd Howe laid on a vibrant and flavour-packed Eid feast across the Foundation yesterday. Pupils and staff enjoyed a specially curated menu that celebrated the end of Ramadan and reflected the spirit of togetherness and gratitude that defines Eid.
Eid al-Fitr, also known as the “Festival of Breaking the Fast,” marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan and is a time of celebration, community and reflection for Muslims around the world. It’s also an opportunity for schools like ours to share in that joy and educate pupils about different cultures and traditions.
The dining halls were filled with warmth, colour and celebration as students sampled dishes inspired by traditional Eid flavours. It was a fantastic chance to come together as a community, learn more about the meaning behind the celebration, and enjoy some delicious food!
We hope all of our boys enjoyed the feast and took the time to reflect on the significance of Eid with their peers. Thank you to our brilliant catering team for making it such a memorable lunch.
