There were some great performances all-around from our 1st XV 7s Squad at their recent tournament at Ampleforth in tough conditions.

They opened the day with two victories against Gigglewick and Mount St Mary’s which took them through to the Cup QF where they beat Bradford Grammar.

Unfortunately, they narrowly missed out in the SF to Sedbergh in the last play of the match. Despite this, it was great to see them rubbing shoulders with some of the best rugby schools in the country, setting them up well for Rosslyn Park!
