There was a major disaster in Nursery this week. The Arctic animals had become trapped in the frozen ice! How on earth were we going to free them? The children came up with some super ideas before conducting their rescue missions.
1.We could put the ice on the warm radiators to melt it.
2.Wrapping it in a towel might warm it up.
3.If the sun came out we could take it outside to melt.
4.Using hammers would crack the ice.
5.We could lick it like a giant ice lolly to melt it!
However the pupils discovered the best way to melt the ice was to use their warm hands to turn it into water and release the animals.
