The Nursery Environment

Mulberry House Nursery is located within its own self-contained Victorian building, with its own secure outdoors play area.

The Nursery offers a stimulating and creative learning environment for boys and girls age 3-4 years, led by qualified teachers and nursery nurses. Nursery is located adjacent to Mulberry House - part of WGHS Junior School for girls age 4-7 years.

We have excellent staff-pupil ratios and the children receive learning opportunities that are taught in an encouraging way and which meet their individual needs.

Fun and happy - with an emphasis on play, there is continuous and flexible provision for both indoors and outdoors learning through carefully structured activity areas.

The indoor space is separated into activity areas including creative play, construction, seasonal themes and role play. The outdoor playground and garden area provide an ideal space for exploration and imaginative play with ride on toys and play equipment.

The Mulberry House Nursery experience is guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The curriculum is based on learning through free and structured play.
