Alumni Inspires KS3 Pupils with International Legal Career

18th September 2025

On Friday afternoon, our Key Stage 3 students had the privilege of hearing from one of our esteemed alumni, Alex Bluett (OS, 2005).

Alex, who is now forging a successful career at Gibson Dunn, shared fascinating insights into his professional journey since leaving QEGS. He spoke about his experiences of practising both English and French law, highlighting the advantages of being multilingual and the opportunities it has opened throughout his career.

The talk formed part of our Future Friday Careers Talks series, which connects current pupils with former students who have gone on to excel in a wide range of fields. Alex’s story was a fantastic reminder of the doors that a QEGS education can open, and of the value of dedication, adaptability, and international perspective in today’s workplace.

We are hugely grateful to Alex for taking time out of his busy schedule to return to WGSF and inspire our younger pupils with his knowledge and experiences.
