On Sunday 19th November, we officially celebrated our school’s 432nd birthday!
Founders’ Day celebrations in the Senior Section saw pupils visit the Wakefield Cathedral for a special commemorative service, with the live performances from a number of talented musicians and vocalists from across the Foundation proving to be a real highlight.

Earlier in the day we welcomed Old Savilian, Mr Ian Minards, to speak with the boys about his time at QEGS, his experiences within the automotive industry at Aston Martin, and his current role as Chief Product Officer at Dyson! Special thanks to our guest of honour.
