Spring Serenade: Celebrating our Junior Musicians in our Spring Concerts

26th March 2026

Our Junior Spring Concerts were nothing short of spectacular, filling both the Jubilee Hall and QE Hall with a vibrant celebration of talent and creativity.

The WGHS Spring Concert featured performers ranging from the youngest voices in our Pre-Prep KS1 Choir to our talented Junior musicians; every pupil truly shone on stage. The girls showcased incredible skill, from soaring vocals to fantastic instrumental performances that highlighted months of dedicated practice.

The second evening was the turn of QEGS Juniors, who took the audience on a journey across the high seas. Their performance was themed around Shakespeare’s The Tempest, blending dramatic flair with atmospheric musical numbers that captured the mystery and power of the storm. It was wonderful to see the boys fully immersed in their roles, bringing a sense of theatrical magic to the musical programme.

Both evenings reached a powerful crescendo with a grand finale involving every pupil, a moment of harmony that certainly blew the audience away. It was an unforgettable showcase of our school’s musical spirit, and we are immensely proud of the confidence and joy displayed by all. Thank you to the families and friends who joined us for these memorable nights; they are experiences our pupils will surely treasure for a long time to come.
