Senior Citizens Christmas Party

4th December 2025

Tuesday night saw students from QEGS and WGHS once again came together to spread holiday cheer as they helped host the annual Senior Citizens Christmas Dinner. The much-loved event, held to celebrate the festive season, treated members of the local community to a traditional Christmas meal complete with all the classic trimmings.

The atmosphere was warm and uplifting, with the school band performing a selection of festive favourites that filled the room with seasonal spirit. Students worked tirelessly throughout the evening—serving meals, chatting with guests, and ensuring everyone felt welcome and valued.

This ongoing collaboration between the two schools continues to highlight the importance of community engagement and the joy that comes from giving back during the Christmas season. It’s inspiring to see our students not only succeeding academically but also playing an active role in supporting and uplifting those around them.

We are incredibly proud of their kindness, energy, and willingness to help. Their contribution brought genuine festive joy to our senior guests and made the evening truly special.

We look forward to seeing even more students take part in meaningful community events like this, helping to foster a spirit of generosity and connection throughout the year.
