Last week, our talented Year 6 pupils lit up the stage in their final QEGS Junior production – a thrilling take on Jekyll and Hyde that kept the audience on the edge of their seats.

With dramatic storytelling, confident performances, and just the right touch of humour, the boys brought the darkly comic tale to life in spectacular style. Adding to the theatrical flair, they also delivered a brilliant rendition of Michael Jackson’s iconic Thriller, complete with choreography and character.

This performance held extra significance as it marked the final production led by the legendary Mr Chris Cheffins. Over the years, Mr Cheffins has been the creative force behind countless memorable school productions, and his hallmark flair and passion were once again on full display. It was a fitting finale to a remarkable career – and he received the heartfelt send-off he truly deserved.

A huge well done to all our Year 6 performers, and an enormous thank you to Mr Cheffins for his years of dedication, energy, and inspiration.
