The WGSF Swing Band delivered a truly memorable day of music and festive spirit yesterday, showcasing their talent across multiple venues and delighting audiences wherever they went.

Kicking off their day with performances at various schools, the band brought smiles and Christmas cheer to pupils and staff alike. Their carefully chosen repertoire of festive and swing classics was a hit, demonstrating the band’s exceptional musicality and enthusiasm.

The celebrations didn’t stop there, as the Swing Band later graced both the Jubilee Hall and the QE Hall with their energetic and polished performances. The halls echoed with lively music that left the audiences captivated and tapping their feet to the rhythm.

A special mention goes to Year 13 student Josh, who took on the role of the band’s official photographer for the day. His “inside job” photography captured the joy and energy of the performances, providing a fantastic visual record of an unforgettable day.
