Our Cricket 1st XI faced the MCC in our much-anticipated annual fixture. Batting first, the MCC posted a formidable 221 against a young QEGS bowling attack.

In the afternoon, under a sunny sky, the QEGS batsmen took to the field but were well-restricted by the MCC bowlers. Despite the challenging chase, Jamie Redgwick stood out with a remarkable 50, earning him the prestigious MCC Spirit of Cricket Award.

Although the team fell short in their chase of 200+, it was a well-fought contest. Well done to Jamie and the entire team for their commendable effort!
