Facing a strong Yarm side, QEGS started on the back-foot but adapted quickly to the oppositions strengths, allowing them to implement their own style into the game.

With QEGS leading 1-0 at the break, the match was perfectly poised but a fast start to the second half gave QEGS control. A professional performance from there resulted in a 3-0 win, setting up a last 16 tie vs King’s Chester.
