Due to the rapidly deteriorating weather conditions, in Wakefield and the surrounding areas, school buses will arrive to collect the pupils at 2pm.

Any pupil who can leave independently will also be released at this time, parents should let the school office know if they are happy for their child to make their own way home, either on foot or using public transport. Clearly, parents can also collect their children at any point.

The Foundation production of Carousel this evening is cancelled and due to us needing to release staff to travel home safely, no after school care will be available after 4pm today. 

We will endeavour to manage children who have to remain in school after 2pm until 4pm as best we can but wherever possible we urge you to try to make arrangements for your child to get home earlier as the conditions in some areas are now really poor.
