The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the sound of enthusiastic chatter filled the room as boys from Year 6 to Year 12 gathered for the highly anticipated inaugural QEGS Annual Business Breakfast. This special occasion marked the triumphs of these young entrepreneurs who had excelled in various Enterprise challenges and programs throughout the academic year.

The breakfast spread was a delightful array of mouthwatering treats, a fitting reward for their hard work and dedication. As the boys indulged in the delicious food, they shared stories of their entrepreneurial journeys, exchanged ideas, and revelled in the camaraderie that comes from being part of a successful team.

One of the highlights of the morning was the recognition bestowed upon Year 12’s LEAP team, Green Lead. Dr. Brookes, the Head of the school, presented the team with a range of well-deserved awards, acknowledging their outstanding achievements in the field of sustainable entrepreneurship. Their innovative ideas and commitment to making a positive impact on the environment served as an inspiration to everyone in attendance.

Another moment of applause was reserved for the brave Year 8 team, EcoAir, who fearlessly delivered their presentation to the room. Their confidence and eloquence showcased the incredible progress they had made throughout the year, and their upcoming participation in the finals at Birmingham ICC filled the room with anticipation and pride.

A special thanks went to our guest speaker, Ryan McNamara of 6B Digital, who generously shared his time and fascinating career journey, leaving the boys with a wealth of knowledge and inspiration.
