On Friday, pupils from our Junior and Senior Sections came together for our annual Carol Services at Wakefield Cathedral – a much-loved highlight of the school calendar. Set within the breath-taking surroundings of the cathedral, the services provided a meaningful moment to pause, reflect and celebrate the festive season together.

The programme showcased the depth of talent across the school, with uplifting choral pieces, confident solo performances and beautifully delivered readings from pupils. From moments of quiet reflection to rousing musical highlights, the cathedral was filled with the rich sounds of Christmas.

A special feature of the services was the enthusiastic participation of the congregation, as families, staff and pupils joined together to sing much-loved traditional carols, creating a strong sense of togetherness and community.

Our thanks go to all the pupils, staff and musicians involved in making the Carol Services such a memorable occasion. It was a fitting and joyful way to bring the term to a close and look ahead to the festive season.
