QEGS is celebrating the remarkable achievement of Kiri, who was crowned world champion at the WUMF Karate World Championships last weekend. The competition, held at the K2 Arena in Crawley, welcomed athletes from more than 29 countries, making it one of the biggest events on the international karate calendar.
Competing in the 15–20 years male Kumite category, Kiri showed immense skill, discipline, and determination to secure first place and take home the gold medal. His performance stood out on a global stage, where the standard of competition was exceptionally high.
The victory marks not only an incredible personal milestone for Kiri but also a source of great pride for the QEGS community. His success is a testament to years of hard work and commitment to his sport.
