Year 8s Take Flight with LEAP Business Challenge

8th May 2025

Friday’s LEAP event saw our Year 8 pupils take on the exciting world of international travel as part of a dynamic business and enterprise challenge. The brief? To create a brand-new subsidiary airline for British Airways — a task that tested creativity, teamwork, and commercial thinking.

Throughout the day, students worked in teams to develop their airline concepts, considering key factors such as target customer profiles, sustainability, brand identity, and commercial viability. From pricing strategies to eco-conscious travel solutions, the boys embraced the challenge with energy and enthusiasm.

The event not only brought real-world business scenarios into the classroom, but also helped develop essential skills in communication, problem-solving, and presentation — all key ingredients for future success.

Well done to all the teams for their impressive ideas and professional approach.
