Dogs Trust Workshop at QEGS

6th February 2025

On Tuesday, our pupils enjoyed a fantastic and interactive workshop led by Dogs Trust, bringing valuable lessons and plenty of fun to the school day.

Jade, our enthusiastic workshop leader, guided the boys through activities designed to help them understand dog behaviour and communication. Pupils learnt how to read dog signals, recognise the different ways dogs show affection, and gained insights into how dogs communicate with people and each other.

The session was not only enjoyable but also thought-provoking, equipping the boys with useful knowledge on how to safely and kindly interact with dogs—whether they have a pet at home or simply encounter dogs in the community.

We extend a huge thank you to Dogs Trust for providing this wonderful learning opportunity. Their engaging approach has left a lasting impression on our pupils, helping them to become more responsible and confident around dogs.

We look forward to welcoming Dogs Trust back for more enriching experiences in the future!
