On Wednesday, 26th June, our annual fishing trip embarked on an exciting journey to Powys, Wales. With a promising weather forecast and positive reviews from various fishing venues, expectations were high among the participants.
The trip kicked off splendidly with the first fishing session at the main lake at our campsite. The boys were thrilled as the lake yielded an abundance of fish, including a remarkable specimen carp caught by George Bailey. This impressive catch set the tone for the rest of the trip.
After the exertions of the first evening, it was crucial to ensure the boys were well-fed and hydrated. With everyone refreshed and energized, they eagerly set off to explore the fishing options at Western Pools.
The annual fishing trip once again proved to be a memorable and rewarding experience for all involved, fostering camaraderie and a shared passion for fishing among our students.
