The English Department was delighted host its Poetry Promenade again this year. We had wonderful weather and enjoyed an evening of original poetry from students in KS3 and KS5.  The evening included a diverse range of published poetry to modern performance poetry. As ever, we were so pleased to welcome Mr Dean who entertained us musically with his selection of waltzes from around the UK. He even ended the evening with one of his own compositions in honour of Mrs Dean. A fabulous evening was had by all. Our congratulations to all of the performers and thanks to the Parents’ Association for serving refreshments.
