In a recent educational adventure, our ambitious Year 10 students embarked on a journey to the prestigious University of Leeds to delve into the world of healthcare and discover the possibilities that lie ahead. The trip proved to be a remarkable experience, igniting the passions and aspirations of our talented individuals.

One standout student, Matthew, reflected on the trip as a truly enlightening experience. For him, the vibrant atmosphere at Leeds University was captivating, offering a comprehensive insight into various medical occupations and invaluable hands-on learning opportunities. The journey provided Matthew with a glimpse into the challenges and rewards of a medical career, fuelling his determination to pursue this noble profession.

He said: “The highlight of the trip to Leeds University was the vibrant atmosphere. The opportunity provided me with a comprehensive overview of the different types of medical occupations and practical learning opportunities. This allowed me to get a glimpse of the challenges and rewards of a medical career and gave me the confidence to follow the medical profession.  I am more determined now to achieve the very best academic results to expand my chances of being part of the medical field.”
