Year 6 have started their Humanities in 2022 with a trip to the Newark Air Museum. This is closely linked to their work in History with a specific focus on World War Two. The boys had a great time finding out all about the impact of air warfare and the history in the development of aviation.

They had a tour of several aircraft at the museum and completed workshops on World War I and II, The Battle of Britain and early aviation through to space travel. They were able to experience an Anderson shelter and think about what it may have been like to have been an evacuee.
