Individual Music Tuition

The School has a team of 25+ Visiting Instrumental Musicians teaching over 400 individual lessons each week to boys from the Junior and Senior Schools.

Pupils are encouraged to take part in the wide-ranging variety of groups that rehearse weekly, either after School or at lunch.

Tuition is available on the following instruments:

  • Woodwind: Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Saxophone and Bassoon
  • Brass: Trumpet, Cornet, French Horn, Tenor Horn, Euphonium, Trombone and Tuba
  • Strings: Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, Classical Guitar, Electric Guitar
  • Keyboard: Piano and Organ
  • Percussion: Drum Kit and Orchestral Percussion
  • Voice

Individual tuition costs £200 per term for 10 lessons. Additional lessons are charged at £20.00 for a 30 minute lesson. Music lessons are billed in arrears each term. A term's notice must be given in writing when ceasing tuition.
