On Tuesday, the current Wakefield Girl’s High School site was buzzing with excitement as our Prep pupils took over Wentworth House for a fantastic Welcome afternoon in anticipation of next academic year.
The transition day was thoughtfully tailored across the year groups. Our youngest pupils spent a brilliant afternoon in their current setting, getting to know their future classes and teachers in familiar surroundings. Meanwhile, our older pupils enjoyed a wonderful afternoon settling into their new classrooms, bonding with peers, and getting to know their class teachers.
Without a doubt, the highlight of the afternoon was an exclusive tour of these incredible new facilities. The pupils were thrilled to explore their dedicated science lab and vibrant art room. They even enjoyed a special sneak peek through the windows at the upcoming food technology and DT spaces, which are set to be completed over the summer holidays.
It was a great afternoon of exploration, building new friendships, and finding our feet.
