Our Junior pupils have come together to celebrate and learn more about the diverse faiths and traditions within our fantastic school community. These opportunities for discovery help our pupils grow as global citizens, fostering a deep respect for different cultures and religions around the world.
Our pupils enjoyed a vibrant and inspiring assembly to celebrate Chinese New Year. A massive thank you to Chloe in Year 10, who led the assembly with a wonderful presentation on the traditions and cultural importance of the festival. Chloe shared fascinating insights into 2026 being the Year of the Fire Horse, helping our younger pupils connect with these long-standing global traditions in a truly engaging way.
We would also like to extend our gratitude to the parents who took time out of their busy schedules to join us and support this fantastic celebration. It was a brilliant morning of community and discovery!
The learning continued with a special assembly dedicated to Ramadan. We were delighted to welcome Mrs Ali, who shared the deep spiritual meaning behind this sacred time and its importance within the Islamic faith.
Our pupils found it fascinating to learn how Muslims spend their day during the holy month, and they particularly enjoyed putting their new knowledge to the test with an interactive game of ‘True or False’! A huge thank you to all of our guests for joining us and helping our pupils broaden their understanding of different faiths.
To all in our community who are observing this special time, we wish you a peaceful and blessed Ramadan.
