We are delighted to invite you to the Foundation’s upcoming Senior Drama Production of Mark Haddon’s award-winning story, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time adapted by Simon Stephens. Performances will take place from the 10th to the 12th of February in the Elizabeth Theatre, with each evening starting at 6:00 PM. Tickets are priced at £5 for adults and £3 for students and concessions.
The story centers on fifteen-year-old Christopher Boone, an extraordinary mathematician who sees the world through a lens of absolute logic and patterns. Christopher finds the complexities of human emotion and social interaction overwhelming, preferring the predictable world of prime numbers. When he discovers the lifeless body of his neighbour’s dog, Wellington, he decides to solve the mystery of who killed him, a quest that forces him out of his carefully ordered life and uncovering startling secrets about his own family.
Since its premiere at the Royal National Theatre in 2012, the play has become a global phenomenon, winning seven Olivier Awards—including Best New Play—and five Tony Awards during its run on Broadway.
Our senior pupils are really excited to bring this technically demanding and emotional production to life. We hope you will be able to support them in what should be an exceptional night of theatre!
