Our program offers
- Super-curricular Teaching: take your learning to a new level with our academic departments who offer educational activities above and beyond the school curriculum.
- Leadership Opportunities: leadership development is at the heart of our Sixth Form ethos. Develop your early leadership skills with access to a wide range of opportunities including leading in one of our four Houses, as part of our Senior Prefect Team, Student Union, as a trained Mental Health First Aider, Peer Mentor, Sports Leader or Student Subject Leader.
- Personal Tutor Support: your post-18 aspirations and choices will be supported by your personal tutor who will help you with ongoing guidance.
- Professional Mentoring: access our engaged alumni network for tailored mentoring. Our alumni provide career advice, development and offer insights into career paths.
- Pathways Webinars: experience university and apprenticeship life firsthand through engaging webinars with current students, offering insights on navigating their paths and preparing for the future.
- Pathways Seminars: attend seminars featuring apprentices and industry professionals, providing inspiration and practical insights into various career paths and alternative routes to qualifications.
- Pathways Lectures: benefit from lectures throughout the academic year, with experts from local, national, and international industries offering career advice, guidance and inspiration.
- University Support Program: receive personalised guidance through the UCAS process, including assistance with applications, interview prep, and admissions tests like UCAT and LNAT. We encourage you to attend UCAS conferences and visit university open days to support your post-18 decision-making.
- Specialised Support for Competitive Courses: our experienced Sixth Form team is adept at assisting applications for competitive fields such as medicine, dentistry, and Oxbridge.
- Careers INsight Week: engage with inspirational role models showcasing a diverse range of careers and the key skills needed for success.
