They got to feel and experience the materials used to make armour such as chain mail, leather, and plate mail; - this engaged all of their senses, as they imagined what it would feel like to wear such heavy, uncomfortable fabrics on their body but appreciated how the materials might protect them from various weapons.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Later on in the workshop, pupils considered the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">advantages and disadvantages of various weapons such as longbows, crossbows, swords, and daggers.
