In lessons they have been working diligently to paint pictures of these people, and they have written about why they love them. In their music lessons they have been learning 2 songs, accompanied with actions.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On Friday afternoon, fathers and father-figures were welcomed into Pre-prep for refreshments and snacks, chatting with fellow parents before sitting down to watch as the assembly began. In the assembly, each Year 1 class performed a poem about fathers and father figures, which they have rehearsed over the past week. Following on from this there was a short film that was played for parents and carers, which was of the Year 1 children listing all the things they love about their father\/father figure.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">They then performed the two songs that they have been rehearsing over the past week, the lyrics of which detail their love and gratefulness for their parental figures.
