The competition saw \"Avogadro\u2019s Amigos\" (WGHS) and \"Methyl Orange\" (QEGS) compete against some of the top young chemists in the country in a series of high-level academic challenges.<\/p>\r\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4\">The format of the race is designed to test both speed and depth of knowledge. Equipped only with their textbooks and a periodic table, students were tasked with solving complex chemical problems against a ticking clock. This required not only a strong grasp of the subject matter but also effective communication and logical problem-solving under pressure.<\/p>\r\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\">Both teams performed exceptionally well throughout the day. We are pleased to announce that both \"Avogadro\u2019s Amigos\" and \"Methyl Orange\" attained the Bronze level and received Honorary Mentions for their work. These accolades are a testament to the students' dedication and their ability to apply classroom theory to advanced, unfamiliar scenarios.<\/p>\r\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\">The event provided an excellent opportunity for our students to engage with the subject at a competitive level and to benchmark their skills alongside their peers from other leading schools.
