The inaugural meeting this week paired Academic Scholars from Years 7\u201310 with members of the Sixth Form Academic Scholars team.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"374\" data-end=\"803\">The initiative aims to build meaningful relationships by giving younger pupils access to high-achieving older students who can provide academic guidance, inspiration and support. Staff reported an enthusiastic atmosphere as scholars from different stages of school life came together, sharing ideas and discussing aspirations. The programme is expected to enhance confidence, motivation and academic progress throughout the year.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"805\" data-end=\"1031\">In addition to the mentoring launch, Year 7 Scholars completed the MENSA Aptitude Test.
