They closely investigated different rock types and had the chance to study the fascinating process of weathering and how it affects them.\r\n\r\nDeveloping their practical, hands-on learning, the afternoon saw the pupils utilise the farm classrooms for a range of engaging experiments. The highlight was definitely Creating their very own wormeries using the farm's soil! The pupils were thrilled to take these back to school to continue observing their habitats.\r\n\r\nAll the pupils got thoroughly 'stuck in,' demonstrating excellent knowledge of rock features and a genuine love for exploring the farm to collect the data they needed!\r\n\r\nOur Year 3 pupils were an absolute credit to Wakefield Girls'. They displayed wonderful manners, put in tremendous effort throughout the entire day, and truly represented the school brilliantly.
