School Councillors and Mrs. Hutchinson introduced the week's theme, \"Know yourself, grow yourself,\" and discussed practical ways to support mental wellbeing. Mrs. Hutchinson led a session exploring the importance of understanding and acknowledging feelings, and how the choices we make impact our emotional connection. Students shared their experiences with different emotions and brainstormed strategies for navigating these feelings as they grow. The assembly provided a positive and engaging start to the week's focus on mental health.\r\n\r\nThe week continues with a variety of classroom activities throughout the week. Students will have further opportunities to explore the theme \"Know yourself, grow yourself\" and learn practical strategies for maintaining good mental wellbeing. The week culminates in SCARF Day this Friday, where students are encouraged to wear a scarf to school in support of mental health awareness.
