Dr. Brookes addressed students with warmth and enthusiasm, sharing his vision for the schools\u2019 united future while reflecting on his own journey and the transformative potential of education.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dr. Brookes began by congratulating Ms. Boyes on her new role at Royal High School, Bath, and acknowledged her significant contributions to Wakefield Girls\u2019. He also celebrated the appointment of Mrs. Tingle as Associate Head, expressing confidence in her leadership as the schools prepare for their exciting new chapter.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">With a blend of humility and humour, Dr. Brookes shared his own story - from his formative years at King Edward\u2019s School in Birmingham, supported by a bursary, to his academic path through Oxford and a career in teaching and leadership.
