These gatherings are a fantastic way to celebrate the academic accomplishments and personal growth of our senior-section students with their families.\r\n\r\nIt\u2019s always wonderful to take the time to look back on the previous year\u2019s achievements and see how much our students have progressed in just 12 months. It\u2019s exciting not only to see them making the most of the opportunities they have here in school, but also getting ready to make the most of those outside of school too. From our younger students to the oldest, the growth we see is always remarkable.\r\n\r\nCongratulations to all prize winners, whose effort and achievement across the whole academic year shone brightly. Year prizes are awarded to the top 10 students for overall achievement, with individual prizes and medals nominated by departments also awarded.\r\n\r\nA big thank you to all of the families who came along to share in the celebrations \u2013 it really helped to underline what a strong community we have supporting the school on our mission to empower our students to be brave and brilliant young people in the world.\r\n\r\nAnd to the girls themselves, we hope the Celebration Assemblies reinforce the faith we have in you, and help you to feel what it means to be a Wakefield Girl.\r\n\r\nThank you to alumna and guest speakers\u00a0 for joining and supporting our Celebration Assemblies and to our musicians for their wonderful performances:\r\n\r\nClaire Young (Alumna) -
