Interactive sessions helping girls to understand their strengths and how to use them took place during the morning, followed by a workshop about resilience and managing change, a mini Cop on Climate Change, an engineering challenge and culminating in a lively Zumba workshop.\r\n\r\nWe loved watching participants grow in confidence throughout the event and hearing their feedback.\u00a0 The top 5 things participants said they'd learned were:\r\n<ol>\r\n \t<li>more about myself !<\/li>\r\n \t<li>to believe in myself and show courage<\/li>\r\n \t<li>how to help myself and others manage stress<\/li>\r\n \t<li>how to work in a team better<\/li>\r\n \t<li>the effects of global warming<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\nOne of our young participants summed the day up nicely\u00a0 - this is 'how to be crazy awesome!'\r\n\r\nWish you'd been here ? We will be hosting empowHER '25\u00a0 - <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/wgsf.org.uk\/wghs\/empowher\/\">register now<\/a> <\/strong>to be on the guest list !\r\n\r\nHead, Heidi-Jayne Boyes concluded the day of inspiration and empowerment by celebrating all participants on stage, reiterating the importance of being true to yourself,\u00a0 knowing your worth and making the most of opportunities.\u2060\r\n\r\nWe were delighted by the number of resilient, determined, and positive young women that left the conference.
