Currently a Senior Associate at Thrive Law in Leeds, Alicia spoke to students about her journey from studying at Wakefield Girls\u2019 to becoming a lawyer.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alicia graduated from Queen Mary University of London in 2015 with a law degree and completed her LPC at the University of Law in Leeds. In particular, Alicia is passionate about equality in the workplace and female representation in the legal industry, so encouraged all of our Junior students to believe in themselves and their abilities, reassuring them that the legal profession is welcome to everybody.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During her assembly to our Junior students Alicia emphasised the importance of self-belief, hard work and perseverance in achieving goals. Her message resonated with our young students, who were inspired to follow their dreams and overcome obstacles. Alicia discussed<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">her experience of developing self awareness and the value in prioritising self-care. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She also highlighted the importance of developing resilience early on in life to help navigate everyday challenges that arise whether in school or beyond.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are grateful to Alicia for taking the time to visit and share her insights with our students. \u00a0We hope that Alicia's words will continue to inspire our students as they navigate their own educational and professional paths. <\/span>\r\n\r\nThank you once again Alicia for your valuable contribution to our WOW Assembly.
