Year 4 then had the opportunity to learn and perform an Indian dance to traditional music, sample Indian food such as samosas and<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> delicious sweets called \u2018gulab jamun\u2019<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, explore books and games typically found in India and try on traditional clothing. Students were particularly excited to look at a beautiful journal containing pressed flowers native to India, and to create their own Rangoli artwork and tealight holders.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This fantastic experience will help our students over the coming weeks as they compare and contrast the human and physical features of India with Malham and our local area.
