our specialist Award For Character Education programme for students across Key Stage 1 - Key Stage 3. This programme will\u00a0 support each student to explore and express their character while building the important qualities, skills, and traits that will help them succeed in life. These include resilience, empathy, self-belief, motivation, persistence, self-control, and coping skills, as well as virtues like compassion, curiosity, civility, and determination.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Our students were very excited to each receive their ACE programme folder which contains 50 tasks to complete, or pick and choose from, over the course of two years. The tasks are age appropriate for students in Years 2-3, 4-5\u00a0 and 6-7:\u00a0 many can be completed independently and some will require the assistance of a trusted adult.\u00a0 Children in Year 3 and Year 5 will have the remainder of this year to complete their tasks before they move up to the next programme level.\u00a0 This term and next will provide the girls in these year groups a great opportunity to \u2018dip their toes\u2019 into the programme, preparing them for their next age-range.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Throughout the year, there will be \"checkpoints\" where students can provide evidence of their completed tasks. This evidence can take the form of photographs, practical demonstrations, presentations, or written examples. By completing 40 out of the 50 tasks, students will receive a certificate and a beautiful badge to be proudly worn on their blazer!<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We believe that this programme will not only help our students develop important life skills but also encourage them to step out of their comfort zones and persevere when faced with challenges.
