giving a hint of German life and culture. They were decorated beautifully and then sent to Wakefield Girls\u2019. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Upon receiving these letters, our students spent their lesson time reading and developing their understanding of the students they were in contact with.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Our students eagerly drafted their responses in German, sharing similar details of life here in England, which will be collected in school this week and sent back to the German High School. We can\u2019t wait for them to read the responses our students have written, and we hope this is the beginning of a brilliant pen-pal project that will continue for many years to come between the two schools.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">These letters are a brilliant way for students to have practical experience using their German language and an exciting and fun way of preparing students for their German writing exam.
