They also visited the world famous Alhambra - a walled hilltop monument filled with palaces, gardens, fortresses and dungeons<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> as well as\u00a0 getting to grips with Spanish culture during cooking lessons making paella.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This trip is incredibly beneficial to our language students as they are able to stay with a Spanish host family and they are fully immersed in Spanish family life.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<b><i>Here is Year 13 student Katie\u2019s write up of the trip:<\/i><\/b>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The recent trip to Ben<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00e1<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">lmadena was an incredible opportunity to practise my Spanish and expand my knowledge of Spanish customs.
