B at A Level.\u00a0 We celebrate a number of students who have achieved 3 A* grades with one third of the cohort celebrating results with at least 3 A*-A grades and more than half of all grades at A*\/A.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students have aimed high and have secured to read a variety of disciplines at\u00a0 first-choice university places at Cambridge, Edinburgh, York, Nottingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield, Newcastle, Birmingham, Loughborough, Glasgow, University College London and Melbourne (Australia)\u00a0 amongst other excellent universities and apprenticeship routes with Dyson \/ BAE and Rolls Royce. 66% of students applying for university places secured places at their first choice universities.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our accomplished Year 13\u2019s include Betty Chamberlain, Rucha Korda, Hannah Sutton, Caitlin Bruce, Leah Davis, Adrianna Green, Antonia Madden, Charlotte McKinlay, Fope Olusola, Yasmin Kumar, Ella Barnes, Nasreen Bello-Inua, Sophie Burell, Lucy Hamblett, Mathusa <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Logeswaran, Lizzie McKenzie, Toni Rogers, Saba Asif, Manya Dhingra Esther Raw, Lucinda Smith, Shara Vijay Kumar and Harriet Whitehead.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Head of Wakefield Girls\u2019 Heidi-Jayne Boyes, said:\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2018We are incredibly proud of our Year 13 students.\u00a0 As well as the brilliant results they have received today, I know our students are ready to move on from Wakefield Girls\u2019 and continue their journey with an abundance of personal and professional skills that are sure to set them up for exceptional futures. We are celebrating many successes, including our students\u2019 determination, humility, and grit which will ensure they continue to achieve the highest possible standards in all that they do.
