They created clay models of a Headland, modelling and painting them carefully, whilst discussing the geography of our coastlines and how people are working hard to protect them.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This trip allows students to gain important practical experience of completing a coastal study, to consolidate their learning on sustainability, climate change and how this affects our local environments, such as rising sea levels and coastal erosion.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As part of their coastal study, our students explore the beautiful shores of Cumbria, examining various coastal processes such as erosion, transportation, and deposition.
