No mean feat! Congratulations and many thanks to the Committee - consisting of Bryony, Luchia, Freya, Amelia, Luke, Charlie, and Connor - for your hard work over the past few months.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Always included is our traditional Senior Prefect Dance, which opens up the dance floor.\u00a0 In preparation, the Senior Prefect teams at Wakefield Girls\u2019 and QEGS <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">started dance lessons straight after the Easter holidays.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0 This year, Year 13 student <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Nell Poppleton taught everyone alongside <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mr Dean, Head of Classics at QEGS, who is also a skilful ballroom dancer. Their skills were in high-demand, with Senior Prefects persisting with their practice, displaying grit and resilience no matter how many times their feet are trodden upon! On the evening of the May Ball, the Senior Prefect Waltz was a resounding success.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Many staff members also enjoy the opportunity for a relaxed, social evening with students they have come to know extremely well, to share good wishes and say goodbyes at the May Ball.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Year 13, we wish you all the very best.
