was a gorgeous afternoon at Forest School today, sun shining through the tree leaves, ferns beautifully uncurling, shoots popping through the soil and our students developing their physical motor skills, self-confidence and awareness in the natural world.\r\n\r\nIn our Forest School we provide lots of excellent activities which encourage controlled risk-taking and develop skills that work across our wider curriculum.\r\n\r\nThis year, our Junior girls have been making mallets.\u00a0 This has involved bow saws, billhook knives, whittling knives along with lots of teamwork, negotiation,
