Students used random sampling to investigate limpet morphology, capture-release-recapture to estimate dog whelk population size, and systematic sampling to investigate the distribution of brown seaweeds up the shore.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The students then went on to design and carry out their own investigations into the effect of a named environmental factor on the distribution of organisms of a species of their choice.
