Year 9 students chose to visit the Madhyamaka Kadampa Buddhist &amp; Meditation Centre in Pocklington on Tuesday 4th October as part of their Religion, Philosophy and Ethics learning.<\/div>\r\n<div><\/div>\r\n&nbsp;\r\n<div>\r\n<div>The visit was a wonderful opportunity to see a real Buddhist Shrine room in a Buddhist Centre and to hear a talk from an ordained, practicing Buddhist nun.\u00a0 Year 9 were able to ask open questions to support and enhance their learning.\u00a0 There was time for a meditation session before heading back to school too.<\/div>\r\n<div><\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n&nbsp;\r\n<div>Students represented the school brilliantly.<\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n<div><\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div><strong>Mrs
