were delighted to welcome all students joining us in September for Year 7 with a special Transition Day in Wakefield Girls' senior section yesterday.\u00a0 New students from many junior schools and our Year 6 students united as the Class of 2029.\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was wonderful to see everyone together, meeting each other and current students, learning how to \u2018survive\u2019 the first few days of a busy term and finding out which House they belong to.\u00a0 Head, Heidi-Jayne Boyes, talked with everyone about our values: <\/span><b>Together, Empowered<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>Aware<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and the importance of them.\u00a0 Fun followed with ice-breakers and activities helping everyone meet each other, create new friendships, speak up and ask questions to help learn about the school and to make sure everyone was included and feeling that they belonged. <\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What a pleasure it was to see this in full swing today, as we do most days for we truly live these values at Wakefield Girls\u2019.\u00a0 Congratulations on your readiness
