The School takes immense pride in the achievements of all its students, many of whom have delivered outstanding individual performances.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Stand out performances included Noah, Yusuf, Joshua, Anisha, Riya, Isaac, George, Alfie, Aarna, Krish, Lucas, Navya, Edward, Rayaan, Sam, Anjali, Muhammad-Mustafa, Oscar, Muhreez, Grace, Zidan, Theo, Jonathan, William, Siddharth, Subhaan, Owen, Josh, Olivia and Arthur who achieved 8 or more 9-8 grades (formerly A*s), and 18 students who achieved 9 or more 9-7s. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">75 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">pupils were awarded at least one of the top Grade 9s. And, across the full range of ability we have a huge number of pupils who achieved results better than their benchmark expectations.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Our accomplished Year 11 pupils include:<\/span>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Noah must be congratulated for his exceptional results of 11 grade 9s and 1 grade 7 to add to his grade 9 in Ancient Greek from Year 10. He is now looking forward to his A Level studies at Queen Elizabeth\u2019s, taking Latin and Classical Civilisation as two of his subjects.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Aarna must be congratulated for her exceptional results of all grade 9\u2019s in the ten subjects she studied. She is now looking forward to her A level studies at Queen Elizabeth\u2019s, taking Chemistry, Biology, Maths and French.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Krish has achieved outstanding results of 10 grade 9s and a grade 8 resulting in the offer of a Sixth Form scholarship.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Anjali has achieved outstanding results of 9 grade 9s and a grade 8 resulting in the offer of a Sixth Form scholarship.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As well as being a champion high jumper, Josh has proved his academic prowess today with 5 grade 9s and 5 grade 8s in his GCSEs.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Jordaine has worked incredibly hard to achieve amazing progress achieving 5 grade 8s and 4 grade 7s in her GCSEs.<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Head Dr Brookes remarked, \u201cOur Year 11s at both Queen Elizabeth Grammar School (QEGS) and Wakefield Girls\u2019 High School (WGHS) have achieved great things. Their GCSE results are outstanding, and set them up for continued success in their academic studies. They have made stellar contributions to the school, on the sportsfield, on the stage, in the concert hall, achieving personal and team success along the way.
