Celebrating Dedication: Duke of Edinburgh Award Ceremony Honours Bronze and Silver Recipients

11th December 2025

We were delighted to hold our annual Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Awards Ceremony today, celebrating the hard work and fantastic achievements of our Bronze and Silver certificate recipients.

Many of our pupils embrace the challenges of the DofE scheme, where they are tested with demanding tasks and expeditions designed to foster personal growth. Awards were proudly presented to pupils who all truly went the extra mile, achieving goals they might have once thought impossible, such as successfully camping in the Yorkshire Dales and navigating challenging terrain using only a map.

Achieving a Duke of Edinburgh Award equips participants with invaluable skills, increased confidence, and a significant edge when applying for higher education or seeking employment. It powerfully demonstrates their commitment, communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities to future institutions and employers.

Furthermore, the award provides participants with lifelong memories of the adventures encountered and the challenges faced while on their expeditions. We are immensely proud of all our recipients for their dedication and perseverance.
